Legal and legislative advocacy strategies for internet freedom shared with Asian activists

K.S. Park spoke at Indo-Pacific Conference on Internet Freedom held by Article 19 on March 22-23 in Bangkok (agenda below) and shared the legal and legislative advocacy strategies with fellow digital rights activists. He discussed the legislative advocacy strategies concerning net neutrality and “network usage” fee bills and the bills imposing punitive damages on the press in South Korea and also recommended three critical impact litigation strategies for the region (see below):
