Take-down of a site parodying gov-required bank-app-market app is illegal.

On April 24, a parody site critical of a rule requiring all bank apps to be sold from gov-issued market app was shut down by Financial Services Commission and Korean Information Security Agency which sent false ‘pfishing’ alerts to the telecoms. Open Net views this takedown as serious infringement of free speech and an attempt to shut down critical discussion on the certificate-required online-payment system that the two government agencies have vested interest in.
